STRYVK Beginner Batter: Strength & Conditioning Coaching Program
Establish Unshakable Movement Mechanics, Core Stability, and Rotational Drive.
Starting your athletic development on the right foundation is the key to long-term success at the crease. The STRYVK Beginner Batter Strength and Conditioning Program is designed specifically for emerging cricketers who want to build functional strength, refine their footwork, increase running speed between wickets, and learn proper movement control under guidance.
Build confidence at the crease with an accessible, highly structured athletic blueprint engineered to transform fundamental movement into modern batting power.
What’s Included in the Program?
-
Structured 7-Day Weekly Schedule: A guided training framework incorporating 4 strength sessions, acceleration speed work, change-of-direction drills, core stability, and energy-system conditioning.
-
4 Foundational Strength Routines: Features foundational lifts like Trap Bar Deadlifts, Goblet Squats, Dumbbell Split Squats, Cossack Squats, Dumbbell RDLs, and Incline Chest Presses to build core motor control and lower-body stability.
-
Introductory Speed & Acceleration: Dedicated speed blocks focusing on Resisted Sprints (10m), Falling Start Sprints (15m), and Linear Sprints (20m) to sharpen explosive initial steps.
-
Agility & Change of Direction (COD): Entry-level agility sequences including 5-0-5 Drills, Pro Agility (20m), Curve Sprints, and Repeat Sprint Ability (RSA) for rapid foot movement and crisp turns at the crease.

-
Fundamental Conditioning Systems: Work-to-rest managed Tempo Runs (100m) and Pyramid Runs (20m, 40m, 60m) designed to safely raise stamina and aerobic recovery.
-
Video Demonstration Support: Direct video links embedded across all exercises to support strict adherence to form, control, and prescribed tempo.
Key Features & Training Principles
-
RAMP Warm-Up System: Integrates structured Raise, Activate, Mobilize, and Potentiate protocols to safely prepare joints and muscles before intense movement sessions.
-
Controlled Progression Parameters: Employs manageable volume parameters, controlled tempos (e.g., 2-1-1-1), and deliberate RIR (Repetitions in Reserve) to protect developing joint structures while driving progress.
-
Technique-First Approach: Strictly prioritizes movement control and athletic execution over heavy resistance, establishing safe habits that last throughout your career.
